Parallel existences have always fascinated me and in 2006 I went exploring. It was a new way of performing. Online, using live streaming, art and avatars! We felt like we were splitting the virtual atom - no one else had done this ... We performed in the original metaverse!
There are several interviews on line about my adventures and reasons for being part of this experience which I thought of as no more of a 'game' than real life! So I won't bother repeating myself - I'll post the links.

Mind you, things have changed since the pixelated worlds of the early days. I don't go in world as much as I used to but it's always fun sharing new music with a loyal audience and listening to new and old artists - Tony Gerber recently built an Ambient Music SIM so Electronic music is alive and well with hundreds of players and listeners.
I still try and perform with TuNa oDDFeLLoW every month who does live particle art from Texas to go with my music streamed live from the UK.
