Parallel existences have always fascinated me and in 2006 I went exploring.

Last weekend marked the end of an era - Tony Gerber - who those in Second Life (and various other virtual worlds) know as Cypress Rosewood - decided to hang up his pixels after 18 years.

This Machinima debuted at the National Portrait Gallery in London in 2014, as part of a Noise Of Art event celebrating 100 years of Electronic music.

Back in 2003 the internet had only been in use for 10 years. Many creative musicians were looking for ways of reaching more people and making a living in the ever expanding new world that lay behind the monitor.
