King for a Day – Here’s a video of the Thompson Twins. We filmed it in Ireland where we were preparing for the tour. One of the scariest things was climbing up the scaffolding to perform under the rose window in full nuns regalia!
I have to say the Thompson Twins entourage were some of the nicest people to work with. It was all very exciting, going around the world and playing in big venues to enthusiastic crowds. We were mostly tee-total and vegans/vegetarians - despite the photo of Felicia and me - haha!
Alannah wrote such great lyrics, Joe sprinkled the musical icing on the cake and Tom's sense of melody and self made them a perfect 80s pop band. Ah what a life ...
